After spending my career in marketing my life shifted direction in 2019.  I’m now an advocate for kidney health and committed to raising awareness in the wider community, championing kidney care, home dialysis, the importance of peer support and promoting organ donation. 

I work to use my personal experience of kidney disease, dialysis and transplant to help improve the lives of everyone affected by the disease through networking and my involvement in research studies and as a public speaker.

My voluntary work includes being a Peer Supporter for the National Kidney Federation, a Community Ambassador for Kidney Research UK, I sit on the committee for my local Kidney Patients Association (LAKPA) and a patient voice on the East of England Renal Network.

I’m also an Expert by Experience, using my lived experiences to educate health and medicine students alongside teaching staff at Hertfordshire University.
